In response to the needs that we see every day as we serve grieving families in our community, Vermeulen Funeral Home has arranged to partner with Pointe Care Counseling, to provide free of charge, monthly grief support meeting. Wes Baldwin, a licensed professional grief counselor with Pointe Care Counseling, leads the group that meets on the fourth Sunday of each month at 6 PM at our Plymouth location. Those who have been served by our funeral homes in Plymouth and Westland are invited to attend, as well as any others from the area who desire to participate.

We will meet on the following days in 2011. Please feel free to call the funeral home if you have any questions. Meetings held Sunday evenings at 6 PM January 23 February 27 March 27 April 24 May (TBA)* June 26 July 24 Aug 28 Sept 25 Oct 23 Nov 28 Dec (TBA)* *A Balloon release meeting in May and Candle Lighting Ceremony in December honor the memory of our loved ones in a tangible way during those seasons.
